78 athletes gets monthly award

In 2025, 78 athletes across 11 sports who won medals at the Olympic and Paralympic Games, as well as at world championship events (including Olympic and Paralympic weight classes, distances, and disciplines), were awarded monthly cash incentives.

The highest monthly reward of 14 million MNT was given to one athlete, while the lowest, 500,000 MNT, was awarded to 22 athletes each month.

In total, Mongolian national team athletes won 11 medals in seven world championship events in 2025, in sports included in the Olympic and Paralympic programs. Specifically:

• Freestyle wrestling: P. Orkhon – bronze

• Judo: K. Yoolk and B. Gankhaich – bronze

• Boxing: A. Battulga – silver; L. Altantsetseg – bronze

• 3x3 basketball: Women’s national team – silver

• Paralympic judo: L. Turuunaa and men’s team – bronze

• Paralympic powerlifting: E. Sodnompiljee – silver

• Paralympic archery: Mixed team – gold; Women’s team – gold

These athletes’ monthly cash incentives will begin on January 1, 2026.

Athletes T. Enkhjin, T. Altjin, and T. Tulga, who won medals in non-Olympic weight classes at the freestyle wrestling World Championships, are not eligible for the monthly incentive program.
